Press & Industry Screenings
In-person Press & Industry Screenings take place at the Holiday Village Cinemas in Park City (1776 Park Ave). All SIO Express passes, the SIO Industry Pass – Hybrid, and the SIO Bundle have ticket-free entrance to in-person P&I screenings.
P&I screening dates and times are visible in the schedule and on individual film pages when you are logged into your Industry account. The Screening Schedule for Industry and Press provides an alternative, downloadable, sortable schedule of both public and P&I screenings.
In-person P&I screenings run Thursday, January 22 through Thursday, January 29.
All films in competition sections (US Dramatic, US Documentary, World Cinema Dramatic, World Cinema Documentary, and NEXT) will have at least one P&I screening.
Films from other programs (Premieres, Midnight, Spotlight, Special Screenings, Family Matinee, and Episodic) will be included in the P&I screening schedule when possible.
Short Film Programs do not have in-person P&I screenings.
Most P&I screenings will not precede a film’s in-person public premiere.
Most P&I screenings will follow within 24 hours of the film’s in-person premiere.
P&I screenings do not include programmer introductions, filmmaker Q&As, or audience award voting.
How To Attend a P&I Screening:
No ticket selection is necessary, simply get in line with your industry credential. Be aware that seating is limited, first-come first-served, and not guaranteed; please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to screening time (we recommend earlier for highly popular films). Theater staff will admit the line of accredited Industry and Press members until the theater is full. Your industry credential will be scanned for admittance.
Public Screenings
Premiere screenings begin in Park City midday Thursday, January 22 and continue through the full day of Tuesday, January 27. Repeat screenings take place in Park City and Salt Lake City from Friday, January 23 through the end of the Festival on Sunday, February 1.
All SIO Express Passes include ticket-free access to all public screenings in person. Please arrive at the theater at least 30 minutes prior to the published screening start time to gain priority entrance via the pass holder line. You must be seated 15 minutes prior to the published screening start time to secure your seat. If you wish to purchase tickets for other attendees, single ticket sales open to SIO members on January 13, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. Mountain Time. Step-by-step instructions for transferring tickets are also available on the Festival Site. Be advised that screening tickets may sell out at any time.
SIO Bundle and SIO Industry pass holders must have a ticket to attend public screenings. Review the Ticketing Options for SIO Industry Pass and Bundle Holders in the Industry How-to-Fest information for details. Please arrive at the theater at least 30 minutes prior to the published screening start time and join the ticket holder line. Ticket selection does not guarantee admission to a screening as theaters are filled on a first-come, first-served basis – be sure to arrive early for the most popular films.
- SIO Industry Bundle Holders may begin selecting their 10 Bundle tickets beginning at 10:00 a.m. Mountain Time on January 6, 2026.
- Single ticket sales open to all SIO members at 10:00 a.m. Mountain Time on January 13, 2025.
- Be advised that screening tickets may sell out at any time.

SIO Industry Bundle Fulfillment
The SIO Industry Bundle includes 10 tickets to redeem for in-person public screenings. Ticket selection begins January 6, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Mountain Time for all SIO Industry Bundle holders. Once you have logged into your Festival account you will see the option to redeem a Bundle ticket for any screening that has tickets remaining at that time.
STEPS FOR SIO INDUSTRY BUNDLE TICKET FULFILLMENT
- Sign in to your Sundance Film Festival account on your browser and click “Program” at the top of the page. Here, you can explore the Festival Program Guide menus, download the program as a PDF, search, and filter.
- Click on the page of the film you would like to see.
- Find the screening time you would like a ticket for and click on Order Tickets. A “Ticket Options” pop-up will display the pass(es) on your account, and indicate which pass can be used to order a ticket. Select “Quick Order 1+ Tickets with Industry Ticket Bundle” to use your 10 Bundle tickets.
- Agree to the Purchasing Terms.
- Press the Complete Order button to complete the order or close the window to exit without finalizing that selection.
You do not need to redeem all Bundle tickets at once; you may use your Bundle tickets for ticket selection at any point between January 6 and the Festival, but be advised many popular films reach capacity quickly. A Bundle ticket can be redeemed for an in-person screening ticket up to two hours prior to the screening, as long as tickets remain available to that screening. Please understand that screenings may sell out at any time (especially once tickets go on sale to the general public on January 14), so we highly encourage you to take advantage of your early selection window.
If you change your mind you may cancel a ticket and apply that Bundle ticket to a different screening with tickets available. Step-by-step instructions for transferring tickets are also available on the Festival Site.
Ticketing Options for SIO Industry Pass and Bundle Holders
SIO Industry Pass holders, and SIO Industry Bundle holders who have redeemed all 10 Bundle tickets can:
Purchase tickets on 2026 Sundance Film Festival site beginning at 10:00 a.m. Mountain Time on January 13, 2026.
Join the eWaitlist during the Festival at any in-person public screening.
If you are admitted via the waitlist your industry credential will be scanned for complimentary entrance.
Purchase tickets through the SIO Onsite Ticketing process during the Festival, subject to availability.
Try this option when advance tickets to a screening you hope to attend are sold out – SIO has a small allocation of tickets for onsite sales.
Ticket requests are collected daily via an online form and SIO fills as many requests as possible based on our limited inventory. See the Onsite Ticketing section of this How-to-Fest guide for details.
Onsite Ticketing
SIO Industry Bundle and SIO Industry Pass holders can request to purchase up to four tickets per day, one ticket per screening, through SIO’s Onsite Ticket Purchase Request process.
Each request form opens at 12PM Mountain Time two days before the Day of Screening and closes the following day at 12PM Mountain Time. Requests cannot be made outside of the twenty-four (24) hour window.
Tickets are $35 each plus applicable service fees. In order to receive tickets, you MUST have a credit card attached to your Festival account; tickets that can be fulfilled will be automatically charged to the card on file. Online Viewing for SIO Attendees
All SIO passes and the SIO Industry Bundle include the professional P&I screening platform called “My Viewing Room”, which is separate from the online experience for public viewers. Your pass allows for one view per feature film or Episodic piece. No reservations are required and accredited Industry viewers are not limited by capacity caps or geoblocking.
Feature films in competition sections (US Dramatic, US Documentary, World Cinema Dramatic, World Cinema Documentary, and NEXT) will be available online for SIO-accredited industry viewers.
Short films, Episodic selections, and additional feature films may opt in for online screenings.
- Once you have begun an online screening you have a limited amount of time to complete that film or Episodic selection:
- Feature films: 8 hours
- Episodic: 12 hours
- Short Film Programs: no expiration during Festival dates
- My Viewing Room screenings are available beginning at 8:00 a.m. Mountain Time on Wednesday, January 28.
SIO Pass holders may begin their last film of the Festival up to 11:55 p.m. Mountain Time on Sunday, February 1.
Any open screening windows will expire at 4:55 a.m. Mountain Time on Monday, February 2, regardless of screening type.
The list of films available for credentialed SIO members to view online can be found here, as well as noted on each film’s page.
A note about Time Zones: To reflect where you’ll be watching, in-person screenings will always be displayed on the festival site in Mountain Time, and online screenings will be displayed in your current local time zone.
How To View a P&I Screening Online:
To access “My Viewing Room” you must be logged in with your Festival credentials and have an active SIO Pass attached to your account. Look for “My Viewing Room” in the dropdown menu accessed from your profile image. Films will appear as “Coming Soon” until online screenings begin January 28, though you can use the star icon to add films to your favorites list at any time.
Online viewing is available on a browser to all registered SIO pass holders, and US-based viewers also have the option of watching on various devices by downloading the Festival screening app, available in January. Your account may have only one online screening open at a time.
Extensive information about online viewing technical requirements and tips can be found in the How to Fest – Watch Online section of festival.sundance.org.
REMEMBER: From the moment you begin watching a feature film you have eight hours to complete that screening, and 12 hours for episodic programs. Within that window you can pause, skip backwards or ahead, or click away and come back, but that film will no longer be available after eight hours have elapsed. Your pass allows for one view per feature film or Episodic piece.
Online Public Screenings
Your SIO Pass provides one viewing of each online feature film in “My Viewing Room.” If you wish to see a film again, or to share a film with a colleague tickets may be purchased for online public screenings at festival.sundance.org beginning January 13, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Mountain Time. The SIO does not have ticket allotments for online public screenings and these screenings are not included in any SIO Pass benefits.
Please note that any additional tickets you purchase for online screenings will be bound by public ticket rules, including geoblocking to the US; your Industry benefits do not apply beyond My Viewing Room screenings.
